Valeriana scandens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Caprifoliaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Valeriana scandens diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1762.
