Vandellia purpurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Linderniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Thailand timur hingga Laos tengah. Nama ilmiah Vandellia purpurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arthur Francis George Kerr pada tahun 2013.
