Varronia nivea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Varronia nivea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Baptist Georg Wolfgang Fresenius pada tahun 1988.
