Varronia shaferi merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba (Sierra de Moa). Nama ilmiah Varronia shaferi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1920.
