Vellozia abietina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Vellozia abietina diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1823.
