Vellozia aloifolia merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Vellozia aloifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1823.
