Vellozia bicarinata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Vellozia bicarinata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Lyman Bradford Smith pada tahun 1976.
