Vellozia bulbosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Velloziaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Pará). Nama ilmiah Vellozia bulbosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Lyman Bradford Smith pada tahun 1962.
