Vellozia candida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Vellozia candida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Christian Mikan pada tahun 1822.
