Vellozia glauca merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Vellozia glauca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1828.
