Ventenata subenervis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Aegea timur hingga Türkiye. Nama ilmiah Ventenata subenervis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1857.
