Verbascum formosum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Scrophulariaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Verbascum formosum diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer pada tahun 1819.
