Verbesina helianthoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan gravelweed. Nama ilmiah Verbesina helianthoides diperkenalkan oleh André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
