Verbesina jelskii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Verbesina jelskii diperkenalkan oleh Georg Hans Emmo Wolfgang Hieronymus pada tahun 1905.
