Verbesina strotheri merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Verbesina strotheri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José L. Panero pada tahun 1993.
