Vernonia actaea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Vernonia actaea diperkenalkan oleh Joséphine Thérèse Koster pada tahun 1933.
