Vernonia coronata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Vernonia coronata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joséphine Thérèse Koster pada tahun 1958.
