Vernonia pulchella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang South Carolina hingga Georgia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan georgia ironweed. Nama ilmiah Vernonia pulchella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1898.
