Veronica fruticans merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Greenland, Eropa. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woodystem speedwell. Nama ilmiah Veronica fruticans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1762.
