Veronica triphyllos merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa, Asia tengah, Iran barat laut, hingga Afrika barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan finger speedwell. Nama ilmiah Veronica triphyllos pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
