Vicia argentea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Pyrenees. Nama ilmiah Vicia argentea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Baron Philippe-Isidore Picot de Lapeyrouse (La Peirouse) pada tahun 1813.
