Vicia lutea subsp. vestita merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Madeira, Mediterania barat. Nama ilmiah Vicia lutea subsp. vestita pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1899.
