Vicoa indica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Afrika, Eropa dan Asia. Nama ilmiah Vicoa indica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1834.
