Victoria cruziana merupakan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Nymphaeaceae (suku teratai-terataian) yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil barat-tengah hingga Argentina timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan santa cruz water-lily. Nama ilmiah Victoria cruziana pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1840.
