Vigna ambacensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Vigna ambacensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1871.
