Viguiera simulans merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Paraguay timur laut. Nama ilmiah Viguiera simulans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1918.
