Virola calophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myristicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan virola. Nama ilmiah Virola calophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Spruce pada tahun 1897.
