Vitex mollis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Vitex mollis diperkenalkan oleh Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1818.
