Vitex pierrei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Vitex pierrei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Grant Craib pada tahun 1918.
