Vitex polygama adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Vitex polygama diperkenalkan oleh Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1832.
