Vitex polygama adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Vitex polygama diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1832.
