Wallichia disticha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga China (Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Wallichia disticha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Anderson pada tahun 1869.
