Wedelia xylopoda merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Durango). Nama ilmiah Wedelia xylopoda diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jesse More Greenman pada tahun 2004.
