Weigela coraeensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Caprifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Honshu timur-tengah). Nama ilmiah Weigela coraeensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1794.
