Wikstroemia canescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan timur hingga Myanmar dan Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Wikstroemia canescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1841.
