Wikstroemia hanalei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Kauai utara). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lavafield false ohelo. Nama ilmiah Wikstroemia hanalei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Wawra von Fernsee pada tahun 1875.
