Wurmbea cernua merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Colchicaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Barat bagian selatan Australia. Nama ilmiah Wurmbea cernua pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Terry Desmond Macfarlane pada tahun 1980.
