Wurmbea hiemalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Colchicaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya (Semenanjung Cape). Nama ilmiah Wurmbea hiemalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rune Bertil Nordenstam pada tahun 1986.
