Wurmbea monopetala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Colchicaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Wurmbea monopetala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1986.
