Wurmbea stricta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Colchicaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Wurmbea stricta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicolaas Laurens Burman pada tahun 2007.
