Wyethia mollis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Oregon hingga Nevada dan California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woolly mule-ears. Nama ilmiah Wyethia mollis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Asa Gray pada tahun 1865.
