Xanthophyllum sylvestre merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Xanthophyllum sylvestre diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama João de Loureiro pada tahun 1925.
