Xerochrysum macranthum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Barat bagian barat dan barat daya. Nama ilmiah Xerochrysum macranthum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 2015.
