Xerophyta capillaris adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Angola. Nama ilmiah Xerophyta capillaris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1878.
