Xerophyta goetzei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Tanzania (Iringa). Nama ilmiah Xerophyta goetzei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hermann Harms pada tahun 1974.
