Xerophyta retinervis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Botswana hingga Eswatini. Nama ilmiah Xerophyta retinervis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1875.
