Xerophyta splendens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Malawi (Gn. Mulanje, Gn. Namuli). Nama ilmiah Xerophyta splendens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alfred Barton Rendle pada tahun 1971.
