Xerophyta tulearensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Madagaskar barat daya. Nama ilmiah Xerophyta tulearensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Marie Henry Alfred Perrier de la Bâthie pada tahun 2013.
