Xylosma schaefferioides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Greater Antilles. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan white logwood. Nama ilmiah Xylosma schaefferioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1860.
