Xyris affinis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Xyridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Burundi, Angola. Nama ilmiah Xyris affinis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1899.
