Xyris byssacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Xyridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Xyris byssacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Kral pada tahun 1988.
